Travelling to Canada
Please be aware of the travel requirements for entering Canada before registering for the event.
All registrants to the IPHPC Conference who are not Canadian or U.S. Citizens will require either a Visitor Visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
If you are unsure which document you will need, please go to the following website, select your country of citizenship and verify which documents you must obtain: Government of Canada Travel Requirements
Please note that all delegates requiring a Visa should register for the conference by no later than May 30th, 2017 in order to ensure enough time for Visa to be granted. Upon registration, you will be issued a Letter of Invitation by the conference planners that can be submitted during your Visa application process.

Please see below for a description from the Government of Canada’s website on travel requirements:
Visa-exempt foreign nationals need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to or transit through Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travellers with a valid Canadian visa. Canadian citizens, including dual citizens, and Canadian permanent residents cannot apply for an eTA.
Be prepared: Apply for an eTA before you book your flight to Canada. Most applicants get approved within minutes. However, some applications can take several days to process so don’t wait until the last minute.
